Care By Design’s CBD oil is not strain specific. Rather, it’s formulated from a proprietary blend of high CBD strains to ensure that you get the right balance of CBD to THC every time.
You will find a “best by” date on the package label. The shelf life is one year, depending on how the product is stored. We recommend you store Care By Design products in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
Hemp and cannabis both share the taxonomic classification of Cannabis sativa. Within the United States, plants with less than 0.3% THC by dry weight are labeled hemp; plants with more than 0.3% THC are labeled cannabis.
A psychoactive substance is any chemical that produces mind-altering effects like changes in mood, perception, cognition, or behavior. Non-psychoactive products still produce feelings within the body without altering the perception of the mind. The ratios of our products refer to the amount of CBD vs. THC in each:
1:1 High CBD, High THC
Our 1:1 is designed for experienced cannabis users who can tolerate more THC for a balanced feeling with some psychoactivity.
2:1 High CBD, Medium-High THC
The 2:1 ratio is great for experienced cannabis users seeking powerful daytime or nighttime comfort and a calm feeling with less psychoactivity. This ratio is designed for people looking for help unwinding.
Both CBD and THC are well known for delivering strong results, and they work best together. Early research suggests that so, too, may many of the lesser known cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found in cannabis.
